For this project, I carried out a range of decorating and refurbishment work.

The aim was to give the kitchen a clean and fresh new look. I worked with the existing kitchen rather than replacing everything.

Good preparation was important. I repaired and prepared the surfaces before applying the new finishes. This helped create a clean and professional result.

Creating a New Splashback Finish

I also worked on the splashback area.

I experimented with several layers of paint to create a more interesting finish. Once I was happy with the result, I protected the surface with a glaze.

This gave the splashback a different look without the need for a full replacement.

This includes suppliers such as Howdens. This can be useful when a small refurbishment needs new kitchen components or other products.

Using existing kitchen units where possible can help keep the work practical and cost-effective.
